How Kamehameha’s Schools (KS) pursued creating a higher standard of student support processes to create equity of access to multi-tiered support services and increase community engagement and accountability.
The Transformation
Through Elevate’s partnership with KS’ Internal Audit department, Elevate identified gaps and developed solutions to support a high-functioning Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). This implementation produced an increase in students being identified as needing support, which further led to changes in how KS Maui allocates its resources.

On account of Elevate’s recommendations and Hackley’s implementations, the project yielded several key outcomes, including mapping its cross-discipline health and wellness curriculum, increasing the depth and breadth of health content taught to students, and developing a connected curriculum.

Supporting a Health Center Redesign and Restructuring during COVID-19
A Glimpse
Chewonki was already looking for a third-party group to complete a health and wellness assessment when COVID-19 hit. Elevate then supported Chewonki not only with the assessment but also through the process of re-opening in the Fall of 2020
The Transformation
Elevate and Chewonki collaborated to redesign Chewonki’s health center amid the pandemic, increase the health center's sustainability, and implement new health operations, personnel, and systems.
